Dignity of Life Committee at Our Lady of Sorrows

A group of parishioners have formed the Dignity of Life Committee to study Blessed Pope John Paul II's encyclical "The Gospel of Life" (Evangelium Vitae), and discuss ways to bring this message to our community.  If you would like to join us, we meet on the second Thursday of the month at 7:30 pm.  Call Karen Paterson at (248) 615-2038 for more information.

What is it?
Each participant will meet with a spiritual director for one-half hour for five consecutive days.

Where will this take place?
All meetings will take place on the OLS campus in individual rooms.

How does it work?
The retreat begins on Sunday at 1:00 pm in the Family Center with a group prayer session, and then each retreatant will meet with their director.  Meetings during the next week take place in the afternoon from 1:00-4:00 pm, or in the evening from 7:00-9:00 pm.  The Week of Guided Prayer closes on Saturday with 8:00 Mass and a breakfast meeting for all participants and directors from 9:00-10:30 am.
