Youth Instrumental Ensemble

(Grades 7 – 8)

Who:

Instrumentalists from the parish who regularly minister at the 9:30 a.m. Sunday liturgy on the first & third Sundays of the month with the Children's Vocal & Youth Bell Choirs, and for special feasts and occasions.

* Fulfills Independent Ministry Component for 7 & 8 grade Confirmation Candidates.

Instruments Welcome:

Guitar, Bass Guitar, Brass, Strings, Woodwinds and Percussion

Instrumentalists:

(Audition for Instrumentalists required)

Please be sure to fill in the following information on the registration form before returning:

· The instrument you play

· The grade you are entering in the fall

· How long you have been playing your instrument

Rehearsals:

Wednesdays prior to the weekend they are ministering at mass, from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in the Church.

Requirements:

Commitment to playing throughout the choir year, and for special Feasts and Occasions.

Activities:

Pizza Parties two times during the choir year.

Year-end Hot Dog & Ice Cream Social.
