Tuesday and Thursday Youth Bell Choirs

(Grades 6 – 8)

11–15 members

Who:

Two separate Handbell Choirs consisting of 6th through 8th graders from the parish who ring at the 9:30 a.m. Sunday liturgy either the first Sunday (Thursday Bells) or the third Sunday(Tuesday Bells) of the month with the Children's Vocal Choir, for school liturgies, and for special feasts and occasions.

* Fulfills Independent Ministry Component for 7 & 8 grade Confirmation Candidates.

Snack Time: right after school: 4:00 - 4:25 p.m. in the Choir Room

Rehearsals:

Tuesdays, 4:30 - 5:45 p.m. in the Church

Thursdays, 4:30 – 5:45 p.m. in the Church.

Requirements:

Ability to read basic musical notations & rhythms preferred.

Audition for new members required.

Activities:

Pizza Parties two times during the choir year.

Year-end Hot Dog & Ice Cream Social.
