RCIA SessionsThe Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a ritual celebration welcoming new Catholic Christians into the faith community. Preparation for the rite takes place in weekly sessions in which prospective members of the church, folks who are already Catholic but need to complete the sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Eucharist), and fully initiated Catholics wishing to expand their understanding of the Church, gather for instruction and discussion. All parish members are welcome to attend the RCIA sessions. They are particularly encouraged to invite and accompany inquirers interested in joining the church. The topics of discussion enrich our understanding of the Catholic faith and ourselves as a community who worship the Lord and serve Him through others. Consult the parish bulletin for the topic schedule. These sessions are held weekly on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. in the Family Center. Attached to this page is a copy of the brochure which lists the dates and topic covered for each session..For more information, please call Patricia Ernst at (248) 615-5574. |
