About OLS School PTG Scrip ProgramOLS SCRIP PROGRAM REGISTRATION PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU MUST REGISTER EVERY YEAR Welcome back to school and to the 2011-12 Scrip Program! Thank you to everyone who participated in the OLS Scrip Program last school year. It was another successful year for both the school and our families. It is time to get signed up for the 2011-12 school year! If you did not participate last year, now is the time to join! SCRIP is a program in which families can purchase certificates to be used like cash at numerous grocery and retail stores, restaurants, theatres and gas stations. If you are not familiar with how SCRIP works, please see the attached page for a description and examples. What is ShopwithScrip.com? ShopwithScrip.com is a free, online scrip management software from Great Lakes Scrip that Our Lady of Sorrows will be using this year. With this software OLS families can register and place scrip orders on their own. The OLS Scrip team will gather up individual family orders (paper orders from school and internet placed orders) and send them to Great Lakes Scrip on the Monday Scrip scheduled order dates. The orders will be returned on the scheduled Thursday distribution dates after payment has been received through school mail or Presto Pay. Why you should use ShopWithScrip.com. This new site offers you convenience - you can now order scrip when you want! The site offers you better information, no wrong denominations or retailers, and you can see your purchase history and order status. Also, using ShopWithScrip.com will give you the ability to recharge some cards, such as CVS, Starbucks and the Gap. You will only be able to recharge these cards if you are placing your order on ShopWithScrip.com, not a paper order through school. You will be asked for the number on the back of the card when recharging the card on ShopWithScrip.com. Busch's, Hillers and Kroger remain the same as last year; they are recharged only in the local stores not online. Who can use ShopWithScrip.com? All families ordering for Our Lady of Sorrows will use ShopWithScrip.com even if you still prefer to use paper ordering via school mail. The Monday scrip ordering team will convert your order from paper to the ShopWithScrip software. Therefore we need an email address from every family, even if you do not want to order online. ShopWithScrip will compile all of your orders and calculate your rebates. OLS and GLScrip will not send you any emails if you do not wish. To place an order you have to enroll your account with Our Lady of Sorrows non-profit organization enrollment code. Our enrollment code is EL11855B78L9. How do I pay for my ShopWithScrip.com orders? ShopWithScrip.com orders will be returned on Thursdays provided you have paid for your order by check through school mail on the Monday order date, with a receipt of your order. Or, you can pay using Presto-Pay. Presto-PayTM is a convenient way for you to pay for your orders, on-line, at the time you place the order. Presto-Pay will debit your checking account for the face value amount of your order, plus a small convenience fee of $0.39, and hold that payment until your organization releases the order. At that time your payment (minus the convenience fee) will be applied to the total you owe for your organization's order. You will be given the option to select the payment type each time you order, during the check-out process. Presto-Pay payments are made to GLSC on behalf of Our Lady of Sorrows. Even if you participated last year or you plan or using ShopWithScrip.com you still MUST complete the registration form and the signed copy of the SCRIP Rules. We will continue with the Monday order and Thursday distribution dates as we did in the past. Once your registration information has been received in the school office, you will receive a yellow SCRIP envelope. A copy of the order form for September 22nd is attached. Please send in your scrip orders in this yellow envelope and re-use it with each order. It is easier for the teachers and students to recognize the importance of the contents. You will find the following included in this packet: - SCRIP Dates Schedule/Scrip Description - Volunteer Opportunities - SCRIP Updates for September - Registration Form (MUST BE RETURNED by Sept 22nd) - SCRIP Rules (MUST BE RETURNED by Sept 22nd) Please submit the Program Registration Form and the SCRIP Rules Form to the office attn: Scrip, Even if you are not planning on ordering SCRIP immediately but think you might in the future, submitting your registration form promptly is imperative so that we can register your family in our system.
