OLS PARISH SCRIP PROGRAM

Our Lady of Sorrows Parish implemented a SCRIP program, which includes many different retailers and grocery stores.  Our Lady of Sorrows Parish will purchase the SCRIP at a discount and resell the cards to you for full face value.  Families can purchase certificates from Our Lady of Sorrows to be used like cash.  A list of these stores can be found by printing a SCRIP order form, or can be found in the church vestibules.

FINANCIAL IMPACT

The rebate percentages from the retailers vary from 3% to 16% (see order form).  For example, if you purchase $200.00 of groceries in Busch's a month and $100.00 at Speedway a month, the discount percent for these two retailers creates a rebate in the amount of $14.00 per month or $168.00 per year.  If just 100 families participated, the projected total for Our Lady of Sorrows would equal $16,800.00 per year.  If 1,000 families participated, the projected total would equal $168,000.00 per year.

ORDERING AND DISTRIBUTION PROCESS

For your convenience, orders may be placed by the following methods:

- Mail order form to Parish office:   23815 Power Road, Farmington, MI  48336-2461, Attn:  Bev Imesch

- Drop off order form at Parish Office, or place in the Sunday Collection Basket

- Order Form is available here on our website or can be found in the church vestibules, along with a retailers
   list. 

A new order form and mailing envelope will be included with your order at distribution.

All orders must be paid in advance.  Payment must be included with order form.
   - We accept cash, check or money order made payable to Our Lady of Sorrows.

Orders are due every other Monday by 9:30 am (see schedule) and available for pick up at the Parish Office the following Thursday during normal business hours.  If you wish, you can send a self-addressed, stamped envelope and we will send your order by mail.
