About OLS Catholic Church M.O.M.S.
The OLS M.O.M.S. Group "Meeting Other Moms for Support" Whether a new mom or mom for many years, a stay at home mom or working mom, our group may have something to offer you! Any mom in the parish is welcome to join; it is not only for OLS School moms. The OLS M.O.M.S. Group meets Wednesday mornings, once a month from September through May and has evening meetings and social activities as well in Church Hall North. We also have family activities, such as a Pumpkin Carving Event in October, Christmas Caroling with the kids at Sisters of Mercy Center, Service Projects and other events. The M.O.M.S. Group has an informative speaker at each meeting, but also social time where you can get to know group members or catch up with old friends. We have speakers that are relevant to what we are doing and going through as moms. The group is a great place to meet people, get support from other moms and learn new information that is helpful in our busy daily lives. The Moms Group has a monthly email newsletter that will keep you informed of our upcoming activities. Come join us and see what we are about. We usually don't begin the actual meeting until 9:30 am after kids are settled into babysitting and we get our coffee. We open with a prayer, discuss group business and then have our speaker or presentation. People hang around and socialize afterward as well. Babysitting is available in the room right next to our meeting room for $3 per child or $6 per family.
