Confirmation Preparation

Confirmation is the sealing of the Candidate’s baptism and a sign to the parish community of readiness to be active as a disciple of Christ, strengthened by grace and the gift of the Holy Spirit.  The two-year preparation program, part of our OLS Youth Ministry program includes seventh and eight grade Religious Formation and OLS students and is designed to introduce and incorporate them into the life of the Church. Candidates are confirmed in the fall of their ninth grade year following participation in the Confirmation program.  Please refer to the Confirmation Sacramental Preparation pamphlet for more details found under Sacramental Formation on this website.
