Convalidation and Annulment

Often times couples married in a civil ceremony would like information on how to have their marriage blessed or "convalidated" by the Church.  Others have divorced and remarried and would like to know what steps are needed to have the Church recognize and bless their current marriage.  You are invited to bring all your questions to a gathering of the Pastoral Staff who can offer solutions.  The Church fervently desires that all marriages be blessed within the Sacrament of Matrimony which "...perfects the human love of the spouses, strengthens their indissoluble unity, and sanctifies them on the way to eternal life."  (CCC1661)
