![]() ChurchOur church was designed by renowed local architect Charles D. Hannan and was completed in 1959. The worship space is designed in the form of a shell, symbolic of the shell from which the living waters of Baptism flow. The exterior front of the church resembles the prow of a ship, the rear of the church, the stern; the whole building a "vessel of salvation" on which we can sail to reach salvation. The cross in the reflecting pool in the triangular shaped atrium in the front of the church rises to a height of 79 feet and was designed by sculptor Marshall Fredericks. The lower level of the church serves as a large gathering space and can be sectioned off into three individual meeting rooms.
