Get ready, get set, go..........  It's time for the 6^th Annual Our Lady of Sorrows Parish Picnic for OLS Parishioners and their immediate families.  Join us in Shiawassee Park for hot dogs, side dishes, desserts and soft drinks from 2:00 to 5:00 pm.  We will have fun and games for all ages.

OLS COOKBOOKS

The OLS PTG will be selling cookbooks after Masses in the church halls on the following dates and times: 

Mass of Thanksgiving for Javier Hoyos

Sunday, May 30th
11:15 AM in Church

Our seminarian, Javier Hoyos, was ordained a Transitional Deacon on Saturday, May 15th by Cardinal Adam Maida at Sacred Heart Seminary.  In thanksgiving, Javier will assist at the 11:15 am Mass on Sunday, May 30th.  A reception will follow in the Church Halls.

Please mark your calendars and begin to gather your old, but usable items for the clothing drive on May 15 and 16, 2010.  Trucks will be available after all Masses this weekend, and bags will be distributed the weekend of May 8th and 9th.

Please join us this Friday; we will be praying Evening Prayer with exposition and benediction of the Blessed Sacrament with the purpose of asking that more men and women courageously respond to their vocation to follow the Lord.
